Lynn Rubright, M.A.T., Associate Producer, Media Coach

Lynn Rubright is an internationally acclaimed storytelling artist, keynote speaker, author and master educator. She is Professor Emeritus at Webster University where her graduate course, Storytelling Across The Curriculum, has met with overwhelming response for over 30 years.

Lynn has implemented various literacy programs for both children and adults, including Project Tell (Teaching English Through Living) which explored ways storytelling and related expressive arts could be used to motivate students. Lynn is co-founder of the St. Louis Storytelling Association and Metro Theater Circus (now called Metro Theater Company) which won a Winifred Ward Award for Best New Children’s Theater.

She is the recipient of the National Storytelling Network’s 2007 Oracle Award for Lifetime Achievement, and a Regional Emmy for her work as producer on the documentary, Oh Freedom, After While, which became the inspiration for her latest book, Mama’s Window. Lynn also authored, Beyond the Beanstalk; Interdisciplinary Learning through Storytelling.
